Bead Oasis Show

Just a short time ago, I went to Calgary with a friend to the Bead Oasis Show.

It was smaller than I had expected, but we managed to spend some money.

I bought a bead kit, for the most beautiful bracelet. I will post a photo as soon as I get the bracelet finished. I am going to display it in my sewing room in case some of my Brides are in the market for some more jewellry!!

Skiing

I have never been much of a skiier. Growing up near Saskatchewan didn't leave us alot of slopes! But, my husband is a skiier, and so are our children. So I have been learning.

We spent a weekend in Panorama, British Columbia before ski season ended. We loved it.

I would love to own a place there, and spend every other weekend out there all year round!

I didnt go off the bunny hill, but I enjoyed myself. The kids loved the cable car down to the Village, and they spent all thier time on the hill, or in the hot tub! While coming down the hill one afternoon, my husband and youngest daughter had a close encounter with a Moose and her baby! They both thought it was pretty cool.

Bad Hair day!

It was Crazy hair day at school for my youngest daughter. She got right into the spirit of things, and this is what she looked like when she left for school. When she got home, I threw her in the shower, and used half a bottle of conditioner to get the tangles out! She loved it!

My Parents

My mom and dad stopped in on thier way home from a holiday in the US. They drove to Pheonix, then flew to Mexico to board a Panama Canal Cruise. The kids love to see them, and they are always doing goofy stuff!!

I have been AWOL for a while. Life just seems to get in the way! We have been doing some renovations on our house. The renovations are complete now, but things are still not all put away. These are the before photos, I will show you some after ones, when I get them taken!
